Analysis on April import and export data of DOP

In April, China's imports of dop3258.6 tons increased by 1987.2 tons or 156.3% over the previous month. From January to April, DOP imports totaled 6381.9 tons. From January to April last year, DOP imports totaled 3292.2 tons, an increase of 3089.7 tons or 93.8%.

In April, DOP imports mainly came from Taiwan, accounting for 65%; Followed by South Korea, accounting for nearly 32%.

In April, China's export of DOP was 5598.5 tons, an increase of 2504.2 tons or 80.9% over that of last month. From January to April, China's total export of DOP was 13558.6 tons, which was 9022.1 tons higher than that from January to April last year, with an increase of 198.8%.

In April, China's DOP was mainly exported to Vietnam, accounting for 33%, followed by Egypt, accounting for 12%, and Malaysia, accounting for 9.4%.

In April, China's DOP imports and exports increased, especially exports. The terminal demand side has not improved, and the DOP industry is still facing high resistance to shipment. In May, domestic DOP manufacturers, due to planned maintenance or accidents, or in order to avoid risks, put more concentrated parking or reduced production, resulting in less than 50% of the start-up load. Under the obvious narrowing of domestic supply, there is a certain increase in import volume. At present, the market has entered the off-season stage, the terminal demand for o-benzene products is weak, and the start-up load of DOP industry has increased, which will still consume the main source of goods. It is expected that the industry will continue to develop exports.
