PVC Additives Dioctyl Phthalate DOP 99.5%

When the temperature of PVC rises, DOP molecules are inserted between the molecular chains of PVC. On the one hand, the polar ester groups of DOP and the polar groups of PVC "interact" with each other and are mutually soluble and do not repel each other, thus making the PVC larger. The intermolecular force is weakened and the plasticity increases. On the other hand, the non-polar alkyl group of DOP is sandwiched between PVC molecular chains, which shields the polar groups of PVC and reduces the force between PVC molecular chains. Therefore, it is easier to move the chain of action of the DOP Plasticizer during the molding process.
