Fluorescent Brightener OB-1 belongs to a kind of Chemical Additives, high molecular polymer, which brighten, increase, and brighten the product through optical means. It will emit visible blue-violet light under the condition of ultraviolet light. It looks very good-looking, and greatly improves the appearance and service life of the product. The plastic particles made by recycling waste materials are slightly yellow. The yellow light in the plastic particles is combined with the blue-violet light reflected by the fluorescent whitening agent to form the white light that is visible to our naked eyes, and the reflected effect is what we see The product turns white, which is the principle of the fluorescent whitening agent OB-1 to whiten the recycled plastic particles.
Product Introduction:
Optical Brightener (OB-1) is a heat resistant and chemically stable fluorescent whitener that increases whiteness and provides brighter looking colors. It is used to offset the yellowness of a polymer and to yield a whiter appearance. Optical brighteners create brilliance by a fluorescence process involving absorption of invisible UV light and emission of visible blue light. OB-1 is especially useful in polyester and nylon fibers as well in high temperature engineering plastics.

Application: OB-1 is recommended to increase the whiteness of polyester and polyamide fibers as well as high temperature engineering plastics, including polycarbonates, Polyesters, and polyamides (Nylon). The product can also be used in styrenic and acrylic polymers.

Packing&Storage:

This product may be stored up to one year in a sealed container. Containers should be stored in a cool, dry area. Extended storage at elevated temperatures or exposure to direct heat or sunlight could reduce product life. Keep containers sealed when not in use.
