1. Properties
(1) Solubility: strong hydrophilicity, soluble in water (it can be slowly dissolved at room temperature, generally dissolved in hot water above 85 °C), insoluble to Almost all organic solvents. PVA-2088 will produce foam during the dissolution process, which can be solved by adding defoamer.
(2) Film-forming: easy to form a film, and its film has excellent mechanical properties. Except for H2O, the PVA film has excellent barrier properties to H₂, N2, O2 and other gases.
(3) Adhesion: not only has good adhesion with hydrophilic fibers, paper, etc.
