Analysis of data of import and export of DOP in March

In March, DOP imports were still mainly from Taiwan, accounting for 75%, followed by South Korea, accounting for 14%, and Japan, accounting for 7.7%

China's DOP imports have not improved, the main reason is still the contradiction between domestic supply and demand. On the basis that the terminal demand is difficult to improve, the rigid demand for DOP is maintained, and the manufacturers' resistance to shipment still exists. Although the DOP manufacturers also have certain actions of reducing production or changing production, the consumption of goods source still needs a cycle, so the demand for imported goods source is not strong. On the other hand, the operating space of import source profit is limited. In March, the profit situation of domestic DOP industry is fair, but the domestic price and import source price are inverted, so it is still dominated by domestic source.

In March, China's export of DOP was 3094.3 tons, 403 tons more than that of last month, an increase of about 15%. In the first quarter of last year, the total export was 3197 tons, an increase of 4763 tons or 149%.

In March, the main exporter of DOP was Egypt, accounting for 14.8%, followed by Australia, accounting for 14.6%, and Malaysia, accounting for 13.3%.

Export excess capacity, DOP exports continue to improve, but the effect is limited. It is expected that China's DOP demand for imports will remain low in April, while exports may grow slightly.
