According to statistics, the national output of titanium dioxide in June was 343800 tons, a month on month decrease of 1.17% and a year-on-year increase of 6.76%; From January to June, the cumulative output of titanium dioxide in China was about 2.0691 million tons, an increase of 8% year-on-year.

In June, the domestic titanium dioxide production was basically flat compared with the previous month, and the production in some regions increased and decreased. Among them, the output of titanium dioxide in Sichuan, Shandong and other places has maintained growth; The output of titanium dioxide decreased in Guangxi, Hubei and other places; The output of titanium dioxide in Shanghai, Hunan and other places was basically the same. Due to the downturn in the downstream market, the demand for titanium dioxide has decreased, and the market pressure is large, and the output in some regions has declined slightly.

In June, the top three provinces in titanium dioxide production were Sichuan, Henan and Shandong, accounting for 22%, 15% and 14% of the total output respectively. In June, the output of titanium dioxide by sulfuric ACID and chlorination accounted for 85% and 15% respectively, of which the output of titanium dioxide by chlorination was 50200 tons, an increase of 2% month on month.

At present, the titanium dioxide market is in the off-season, and the price in some regions has fallen by more than 1000 yuan / ton. However, the terminal market is still depressed, and titanium dioxide manufacturers are under great pressure. Affected by the market downturn and high inventory, titanium dioxide overhaul enterprises will also increase in July, and the output is expected to decline slightly in that month. However, with the recovery of downstream demand in the later stage, the titanium dioxide market will improve, and the price is expected to rebound in the third quarter.
