Product Description

DOTP Dioctyl Terephthalate

DOTP can be combined with polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride-Vinyl Acetate Copolymer, polyvinyl butyral, cellulose acetate butyrate, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene and other resins. Compatible, but incompatible with cellulose acetate, polyvinyl acetate. The plasticizing efficiency of this product is the same as that of DOP, but the cold resistance, weather resistance, volatility resistance and viscosity stability of plastisol are better than DOP, and electrical insulation is slightly worse than DOP. Due to the high price, the application is not extensive. This product is a non-toxic Plasticizer that can be used to make food packaging materials. This product is also used as a solvent and gas chromatographic fixative.
