Polyvinyl Alcohol BP-17 powder is especially Used in the manufacture of polyvinyl acetal, gasoline-resistant pipes and vinylon synthetic fibers, fabric treatments, emulsifiers, paper coatings, adhesives, etc.
Polyvinyl alcohol is a white or slightly yellow granular or powdery, stable, non-toxic water-soluble polymer. Polyvinyl alcohol has good film-forming properties, and the formed film has excellent adhesion, solvent resistance, abrasion resistance, tensile strength and oxygen barrier properties. Polyvinyl alcohol has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic functional groups, so polyvinyl alcohol has the properties of interfacial activity, and can also be used as a protective colloid for polymer emulsification and suspension polymerization.
