PVA is a white to yellowish granule (or powder), stable, non-toxic, water-soluble polymer. Water is a good solvent for PVA. From a practical point of view, water is also the only effective solvent. PVA has good film-forming properties, and the formed film has excellent adhesion, solvent resistance, abrasion resistance, tensile strength and oxygen anion resistance, because PVA has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic functional groups, so PVA has the properties of interfacial activity, so PVA can be used as a protective colloid for polymer emulsification and suspension polymerization. These unique properties make PVA widely used in all walks of life.
Application:
(1) Adhesives and adhesives: used for office paste, re-wet paste, paper tubes, paper bags, cartons, plywood, plywood, non-woven fabrics, etc. Used in building materials, iron, ACID salts, ceramics, pottery, ink, paint glue for painting tools, paint glue, cement admixture for concrete strengthening, etc.
